I bought this from an elderly church member at a garage sale over 30 years ago. I\'m pretty certain that she was the original owner. I had originally planned to get it up and functioning 100% and use it to write a novel or something. Well that never happened and the computer age is upon us so it has sat in a closet forever waiting for a new home. The ribbon was bone dry so I bought a new one from Amazon and I have uploaded a sample of the typing. Personally, I think it looks pretty cool. The rubber pads on the bottom of the case need to be replaced but that is about the only problem I can see. I looked at several similar models online and it looks like this is a 1957 model... I said 1957 \"era\" just to cover my butt. The price is right compared to some of the others like this.
