Vintage 1970\'S Hawaii, Hawaiian Mongo Pikake Shell Lei Necklace. The Lei / Necklace is approx. 28 inches around the outside diameter. It is in good vintage condition with no shell loss and the white ribbon is in good condition. It was never worn and kept in my mom\'s cedar chest through the years. I have had it since 1989 and have kept it wrapped in a box and I have never worn it since receiving it. I am listing 2 other Shell Lei\'s one other that my mom purchased in the early 1970\'s when she visited Hawaii and a Pikake Shell lei with a Cowry / Cowrie shell clasp. That one was given to her by her sister in-law in the 1940\'s and was never worn and kept in the same way.
