Ebeling & Reuss was a major importer of figurines from various European countries, and combined their initials and location (Philadelphia) into the brand Erphila, which was imported from Germany. Their dog figurines are still widely collected and generally date to production during the 1930s to 1950s. This listing is for their reclining Borzoi dog in a light brown and white coloring. It is marked Erphila Germany in red on the underside and has an impressed model number. A beautifully modeled and decorated figurine. It is porcelain.It measures 2 3/4" tall by just under 7" long.No chips, cracks, repairs or restorations. It does have some old tape residue on the underside.
