You are looking at a EARLY & VINTAGE Bankers Utility Company coin bank savings book in good but worn condition for its age. The book features the name of the original owner, I cannot tell the name but looks like Possibly Roony, Rosie, or Rodney??? This book promotes The Mt. Lookout Savings & Loan co. Of Cincinnati Ohio. The book has a off white eggshell color, & features a leather type outer covering. The spine of the book features the title of “Book of Thrift” volume VIII, & comes with its original box that is missing the top flap but has the slogan “Thrift Pays Dividends”. The front of the book also features the slogan “Where savings are safe”. The book measures 4.5”x3.5”x1” deep, was made in the USA, features a July 3rd, 1923 patent date. There is no key, & the book is empty, & will be shipped as pictured. Please view the pictures to determine condition, as my opinion of condition may vary from yours.
