VINTAGE 1982 U.S. NAVY FRIGATE U.S.S. VREELAND FF-1068 ZIPPO LIGHTER: $34.99
VINTAGE 1982 U.S. NAVY FRIGATE U.S.S. VREELAND ZIPPO CIGARETTE LIGHTER. This lighter reads \"U.S.S. VREELAND FF-1068\" on one side along with the ships insignia on the other side. Bottom is marked \"ZIPPO BRADFORD PA\" with markings dating it to 1982. Lighter measures roughly 2 1/4 inches high X 1 1/2 inches wide. Lighter is in overall very good condition showing some light wear & scratches. I have not tested the lighter but I see no reason why it would not work. Just add fluid if so desired. The U.S.S. Vreeland was a U.S. Navy frigate commissioned in 1970 and decommissioned in 1992.
