VINTAGE 1950s SHELL OIL CO SUPER SAFETY BRAKE FLUID METAL CONE TOP TIN CAN EMPTY:

Offered here is a vintage EMPTY \"cone top\" style tin, or steel, can. The front reads, \"SHELL SUPER SAFETY BRAKE FLUID.\" The bottom of the BACK side is marked, \"12 FL. OZS...SHELL OIL COMPANY. NEW YORK 20, N.Y.\" Note the old 2-digit \"Postal Code\" in the address. This was mostly used from 1946 to 1963, and was dropped with the introduction of the 5-digit Zip Code in 1964. I think this was made in the 1950\'s or early 1960\'s - give or take. The can is in GOOD condition. It has some dings, scratches, small paint nicks and a few rust spots. The screw-on cap is still present, but has some paint wear and rust. The white background has yellowed. The can still displays very nicely, and it is guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back.
