They were sold through museum gift shops and through the magazine of the American Museum of Natural History.They were made in a heavy base metal and then coated with a \"Royal Bronze\" finish that gives them this nice patina. Most of the figures in their Dinosaur and prehistoric animals line were made in two sizes. Among the rarest are the caveman and cavewoman
