VINTAGE 1930’S GERMAN HALLOWEEN TOY NOISEMAKER SHAKER - SEATED BLACK CAT:

This lot includes:

Wonderful Vintage Halloween Toy Shaker, features a Sweet Seated Black Cat with a Bell at the Neck
Cool ‘Art Deco’ Design, appropriate for 1920’s & 1930’s
Extremely fragile, lightweight shaker made of a steam bent wooden hoops with reinforced thin paper skin across the top & bottom
Secure painted wooden handle, 5.5” long
Nice muted sound when shaken, please see video
Sides are decorated with orange/black paper with a diamond design
Paper has bright colors of mainly orange & black
Marked ‘Made in Germany’ on top, circa 1930’s
Measures 6.25” diameter x 12” long
Wear consistent with age: surface soiling; several thin worn areas on the top; several tears & indentations on reverse but reinforcement netting remains - please see last (4) photos
