You are looking at a lighter that was likely presented by Kim Hak Won to either a subordinateworthy of a gift, or owned by Kim Hak Won himself. What research I have come up with is that this is a Korean division, fighting in Vietnam likely between 1969-1970, and the Korean writing says, according to Google translate, "Commander of the Zhou Wenmen Tiger Unit Director Gamhakwon". There is some information out there about this unit, and the role they played in Vietnam. My understanding is that we had Korean allies serving with US soldiers, and they would get additional credit for serving in the Vietnam war from the Korean government.
The blemish next to the Vietnam outline can not be buffed out. That is the only damage I can see on this lighter, and it is two sided. I would NOT use this lighter on a daily basis.
