VIBRANT Vintage 1890's Red & White Baskets Antique Quilt:

This wonderful cotton 1890's solid red and white baskets quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted, with treadle machine appliqued basket handles.It measures 72" X 100" and is in good condition, with age spotting in places and the occasional nick at the binding edge.
There is quilting around the baskets and in straight line designs in the background, all at 5 stitches to the inch.
The back is white, the machine stitched binding is solid red, and the batting is thin. The quilt came out of Boylston, Massachusetts.
The WONDERFUL RED and CLASSIC, SIMPLE DESIGN make this 19th century beauty stand out!
