An estate liquidation find, VERY RARE!. Only 1 run of 50 ever made. We found 5, each in a plastic case. We are keeping 2. Others will be offered for sale individually.Last known to have been made/issued in Y2K(late 1999), when the logo changed from the prior multi colored design, to this more “subdued” iteration which is (consistent with the ESD’s affiliation with the Special Enforcement Bureau-SEB) of which it is currently a part. 1.77” hard enameled pin. Highlighting the multidisciplinary function of the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department’s Emergency Services Detail (ESD), which combines emergency medical care, hoist/long rope helitac rescue, rescue diving and special weapons & tactical operations which the LASD refers to as the SEB (Special Enforcement Bureau) all displayed in this unit insignia. To our very best knowledge, these were last issued just prior to Y2K (under sheriff Lee Baca, and were authorized by him.) Please Note:We have only ever seen this pin once, in our combined thirty years of doing estate liquidations and collecting LE collectables .
