For sale is set of signs consisting of a rare and large Land Rover shield with corresponding metal letters.

The shield sign measures approximately 2ft in length as does the letters when mounted.

The signs are superb anddisplay very well on the wall.

An excellent main feature piece and especially for Land Rover enthusiasts.

I am selling my Father’s collection of signage and automobilia that he has collected over many years.The signage has been sourced from all over the world and at significant expense.My Father loved cars of all kinds and loved having the garages to go to and potter away the hours.The signage literally transformed the atmosphere of the garages to the point he would simply go there for a cup of tea if nothing was actually needing to be done.

Some of the items are rare originals and some are reproductions.I cannot honestly in good faith authenticate each items originality, however it is known that an exceptional amount of money was paid for quite a number of items and some show signs of age and bare all the characteristics of a genuine piece.All of the items have been displayed in his garages and have been thoroughly enjoyed and always brought a smile when visiting.I have photographs of the garages before the signs were removed.Sadly we are now no longer requiring any of these items.

Every sign/object in the garages is available for sale although it may not be listed due to the sheer volume of items.If there is something you are interested in and cannot see it advertised then please just let me know.

Condition:Every item has been mounted on the wall and as such there will be (in most cases) remnants of adhesive and/or mounting materials on the reverse of each item.Some items will also display possible evidence of glue and/or vapour residue from glue which in most cases can be removed.Each item is in used condition and some items are many years old and/or have been used outdoors in the past due to the original intended use of some signage.Please accept that all items will have some degree of use, damage and signs of age.

Postage:Due to the sheer volume of signage and differing sizes, weights and values, it is very difficult to accurately calculate the postage cost.Some items will have free postage; however in most cases the postage price quoted in the listing may be more than it actually costs to send the items.I will refund any excess that I can after the actual cost has been determined and any packaging has been accounted for.To be completely transparent, I will likely not know the cost until having to post the item either at the Post Office or by a courier.It is at this point I will then be able to refund the difference in cost (if any).

Due to the size of certain items it is unlikely I will be able to combine shipping, however it is not impossible and in certain cases this could be achieved.

Delivery times:I will endeavour to have any item that is sold posted as soon as possible.Please allow me the time to retrieve the item from storage and to package it (usually just a couple of days).

Returns:All sales are final and returns are not authorised.Please study each photograph as carefully as possible and if in any doubt then please do not commit to purchase.

Price:Please note that these items are very personal in nature.However, all consideration has been given to the fact that they are simply material possessions and I have a note left to me from my Father of the values he paid for the majority of items (as also required for the contents insurance for the garages).I know it is human nature to barter but in most cases the price quoted in the listing is the price we can accept.We are not in a rush or working to time constraints to have these items sold and storage of the items has been organised for the long term.
