One piece die struck nickel construction. Front shows the profile of a VW bug car in the center with a cog wheel at the top. It reads Grendsteinlegung Des Volkswagenwerkes Mai 1938 on the base. Reverse side is maker marked OS ges gesch. Thin horizontal safety pin back. Measures 1 1/2 inches wide by 1 1/8 inches tall. Has 卐 behind car.
