Fortnum & Mason Upmarket Department Store established in 1707 by William Fortnum and Hugh Mason. I have looked every where I cannot find another clock the same! On the Case Back has 9322 stamped & a lot initials at dates where the clock has been serviced in the past. The year on the date are 2 digits so I am unsure of when this Beautiful clock was manufactured? The Clock starts ticking after a gentle shake - keeps good time & runs for 8 days! The Clock case looks like it is made out of Marble or Onyx as it has a nice weight! The Clock has got a stunning silver moondust dial with light patina. The Clock has large Gold Italic Arabic Hour Markers & Gold Dot Minute Markers. The Markers catch the light beautifully & looks amazing against the silver moondust dial! The Clock has a thick glass with a bezel that might be made of Silver? The Clock dial has the "Fortnum & Mason London" logo at the 12th Hour & Swiss 8 Days at the 6th Hour! The Clock right foot must have worked loose & somebody has done a fix on it - Please see photographs! The Clock has one case clip missing on the bottom section - This does not affect the operation of clock & the movement is not loose. The Clock has a small chip on the edge of glass between the 1th & 2nd Hour - As you can see from the photographs do not spoil the beauty ofthis Rare clock!
