Excellent large framed fossil shark and marine reptile teeth 700mm case exclusively curated for the world of interiors. This attractive and fascinating display of Otodus obliquus shark, Ray fish, Mosasaurus and other miscellaneous fish teeth, will make a good display of marine fossil teeth for the wall.

From the sands of Khouribga and within the phosphate deposits of Morocco, North Africa. We have collected a variety of shark teeth, fish and other marine animals and created the perfect gift for all avid collectors and enthusiasts. These fossil teeth date back to the Cenozoic era, in the late Paleocene epoch around 50 million years. The Otodus obliquus was a very large Macro-predatory shark with the largest recorded tooth measuring 10.4 cm in length. With each discovery, we are able to determine more about these powerful sharks which roamed the prehistoric seas of the Cenozoic era. Otodus was a fearsome predatory shark growing to a maximum length of 39 feet. Their prey being smaller marine mammals including smaller sharks. Scientist and palaeontologists theorise the Otodus obliquus ancestry connects to that of the great Megalodon from the Miocene era, evolving for around 30,000,000 to 40,000,000 years and now down we can enjoy the modern Great white sharks. This is the lineage of Carcharocles as we understand it today.
