I am selling anunbelievably intricate and large vintageporcelain German figural group. There are 17 crisp and clear photographs that I ask you to examine.

The lovely lady in hervoluminous gown of layers of Dresden lace is flirtatiously engaging in a chess game with herexquisitely dressed gentleman. Their dress is representative of an 18th century style. Who is winning? Ispeculate the lady is by the expression on her face. The man's expression seems to be one ofbewilderment!

My policy upon obtaining antiques is to give them a good cleaning as dirt tends to cover flaws. However, I have not tried to clean the dust on this one for fear of doingdamage.

The only flaw I can find are a few missing pieces of the Dresden lace gown.

The mark to the underside of the plinth is theVEB Unterweissbach, 1958 - 1976, mark.

I have yet to find one of their figurines this large or thisextravagant.

I will be having this item professionally packaged and insured by FEDEX.
