Rare 1928 Wedgwood University of Michigan CommemorativePlate - made in England.This transferware platemeasures approximately 10 1/4\" across, and has an ivory background with blue images. The plate hasa decorative border, with a centralimagefeaturing Presidents House on the University of Michigan campus. The back ofthis plate carries following inscription and manufacturer\'smark: \"University of Michigan 1928 -- Presidents House -- Wedgwood - Etruria, England -- SoleImporters - Jones, McDuffee & Stratton - Boston\". The Wedgwood impression/incision is also present.

Thisplate was part of a large Wedgwood collection that was carefully stored away for many years, and it is in excellent condition - no crazing, crackling, chips, cracks, repairs, stains or marks anywhereon this item.
