Rare 1930 Wedgwood University of Michigan CommemorativePlate - made in England.This transferware platemeasures approximately 10 1/4" across, and has an ivory background with blue images. The plate hasa decorative border, with a centralimagefeaturing Alumni Memorial Hall on the University of Michigan campus. The back ofthis plate carries following inscription and manufacturer'smark: "University of Michigan 1930 -- Alumni Memorial Hall -- Wedgwood - Etruria, England -- SoleImporters - Jones, McDuffee & Stratton - Boston". The Wedgwood impression/incision is also present.

Thisplate was part of a large Wedgwood collection that was carefully stored away for many years, and it is in excellent condition - no crazing, crackling, chips, cracks, repairs, stains or marks anywhereon this item.
