University of Arizona Main Building Old Main Tucson lot of 2 postcards c. 1912:

This is a set of two postcards of the Main Building at the University of Arizona known as Old Main. One is postmarked from 1912 (or 1914 as there are two postmarks) and one is postally unused. This is a great way to frame two postcards - with the image on the unused postcard facing out and the postmarked one with the handwriting visible (see photo - it looks awesome when framed as you can see the image and enjoy the vintage postmark and handwriting at the same time). The best thing about the building pictured on the postcards is that this building from the 1880s (it’s adobe) is still in use on the University of Arizona campus today. Would make a great gift for a graduate, professor or staff member - would be incredible having this little piece of history on your desk. Please ask questions if you have them.
