Possible United Kingdom privatepilot license lapel pin (although I’m not an expert and I could be mistaken). Thelapel pin is made of gold-toned metal with enamel, and features the initials “PPL”(presumably for Private Pilot License) in the center of the wings. The lapelpin is approximately 1 1/4” long. The lapel pin has a clutch back. Thelapel pin is unmarked, and the age and maker of the lapel pin areunknown.

The lapel pin appears to be in very good used condition with signs of age and wear, such as minor scratches, scrapes, abrasions, nicks, indentations, pits, discoloration, and some loss of finish (some blemishes may be a result of the manufacturing process). The clutch back is not original to the lapel pin; it was added.
