What a wonderful, unique hand made piece from the 1930\'s. It was purchased from the estate of Edward Dieckmann (United States, 1918 - 2015). Mr. Dieckmann was a partner in Manske & Dieckmann, an architectural firm noted for designing many of the mid-century churches throughout the Midwest - it is now known as MDT and located in Chicago, IL. We can date this piece to the late 1930\'s when he was studying architecture at Washington University in St. Louis. Great piece with the feel of Blondie and Dagwood style illustrations from the period. Would look great in a double sided frame. The piece is an ink and watercolor on heavy cotton paper and measures 6\" x 4 5/8\" (closed). Please read condition report and see photos for additional details.

Since many of our items are unique and fragile, we will only accept returns if the item is damaged during the shipping process and we are notified within 24 hours of item delivery.

Items of over $200 in value will be insured.Artwork of over $500 in value, in addition to being insured, will be shipped using professional packing and shipping services to assure item safety.
