This is an excellent Stereo card of horses and muels climbing the steep Zig-Zag trail, Yosemite Valley, California (Yosemite National Park). It was made by Underwood and Underwood and has a copyright date of 1902. It is from their Scarce Yosemite Valley 24 card set. The card is titled \"Climbing up the steep Zig-Zag trail, at the eastern end of Yosemite Valley, Cal.\" with a position number of 20. This card is in near mint to mint condition and measures 3 1/2\" by 7”. The back of the card is printed with the view’s title in six different languages. Stereoviews or stereo cards have two nearly identical images mounted side by side. When looked at through a stereo viewer they give a three-dimensional image. Most popular from 1854 to 1938, they were produced in vast quantities, and many are of historical interest. They usually measure about 3 ½” by 7”.
