Incomplete set of uncut trading cards based on the 1943 movie serial The Adventures of Smilin’ Jack, itself based on a popular 1940s comic strip. Trading cards come in strips of eight cards printed on heavy cardboard. Front sides of card show movie stills and cartoon panels, while rear sides summarize the action. Manufactured by Samuel Eppy of New York City. Each card measures 3 x 2.5 inches.
I have strips of cards: 1-8, 49-56, 57-64 (two copies), 65-72, 73-80, 81-88, 89-96 (two copies), 97-104, 105-112, 113-120, and 121-128. All Very Good condition. 88 different cards (of the 128 in the series) in total, with duplicates bringing grand total to 104 cards.Thank you for visiting our sales.
