The 14th separate motorized brigade is part of the operational command \"West\", its location is the city of Vladimir in the Volyn region.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russian invaders on February 24, 2022, the soldiers of the brigade took part in the liberation of the Kyiv region.

Currently, the brigade is actively fighting with Russian troops in eastern Ukraine and is fighting for the independence of Ukraine. Many soldiers and officers of this brigade were awarded the highest title \"Hero of Ukraine\".

One example of the courage of the soldiers of this brigade was the tank battle that took place on March 8, 2022 during the liberation of the village of Makarov, Kyiv region.In this battle, three tank crews of the 14th separate mechanized brigade of the region lined up six Russian tanks. The crew of the Ukrainian T-64BV tank consisting of senior sergeant Serhiy Vasych, senior soldier Vitaliy Parkhomuk and soldier Oleh Svinchuk was killed in the battle.
