The Sea Launch program is one of the most interesting and revolutionary international space projects of the late 20th century, which for the first time implemented the idea of using a sea platform for space launches from the equatorial zone. This makes it possible to make maximum use of the effect of the Earth’s rotation and launch a load of greater mass into orbit with less fuel consumption. The uniqueness of the Zenit-3SL launch vehicle lies in its environmental friendliness, which is extremely important today.
