Crafted for static operations in extreme cold and dry settings, the GEN III ECWCS Extreme Cold Weather Parka offers robust protection. Engineered with a water-resistant outer shell and PrimaLoft® Sport Thermal bonded high-loft insulation, Level VII ensures durability and breathability. The parka and trousers furnish shielding and insulation against cold elements during stationary missions, retaining warmth even in wet conditions.
The Level VII parka showcases a two-way center-front zipper with a safeguarding wind flap, reinforced elbows, two front zipper pockets, and a rip-stop nylon inner lining. Adjustable elastic cords line the bottom hem for personalized fit. It incorporates a collar with a collapsible insulated hood that conveniently tucks away within. Moreover, Velcro fasteners facilitate the attachment of rank badges and name plates, while elastic cuffs with Velcro adjustment straps ensure a snug fit. All zippers are equipped with thongs for easy manipulation while wearing gloves.
