This is a very high quality new American flagpin. Waving flag is done in shiny silver-tone metal with red, white, and blue enamel. Very striking for a lapel or hat pin.

The pin is nicely manufactured and \"hefty\"; about the thickness of a United States quarter coin. On the back there is raised printing: \"Proudly Made in the USA\", with the manufacturer\'s website name. The pin alsohas a small spike that sticks out from the back--it grabs your clothing or hat to keep the pin from spinning.

The pin is \"cloisonné\" effect; the pins are die-struck and then enamel coloring is applied by hand.The color sits lower than the raised metal lines and stars,giving the pin a textured look and feel, creating the flag\'s design. No epoxy coating is included on top--the resulting effect is brighter and dressier than with the epoxy \"cap\".
