US WWII NOS M1942 First Aid Pouch with Red Bandage:

M-1942First Aid Pouch, new condition with Carlisle Bandage in metal case – marked “INDEPENDENT/AWNINGS/1943”. The earlier bandages were in a red casewhereas the later ones were Olive Drab; I don’t know when the transition wasmade. The bandage is marked Bauer &Black (they also made bandages duringWWI) and it does not have sulfamamide that the later bandages do. I’man older collector who has decided it is time to start moving some of thecollection. These items are from anon-smoking, pet free and central air/heat environment.
