US WW2 M43 Officer\'s Wool Shirt, Size 16 X 33, 11/43 Dated, Near Mint:

An original, near mint US WWII officer\'s M43 mustard wool shirt, size 16 X 33, November 8, 1943 dated. The gas flaps have been removed from the chest and cuffs. There is a repaired area on the under side of the left sleeve and couple of holes in the interior fabric layer just below and to the right of the size tag (see photos)- only one of the holes go through to the outer fabric layer on the upper left shoulder area - barely visible (see photo). The shirt has been professionally altered on the side seams to a slightly smaller size. Measurements as follows: Chest - armpit to armpit seam - 22\"; Waist - side seam to side seam - 20.5\"; Shoulder seam to shoulder seam measured just below the epaulets in back - 19\"; Sleeve length measured from the top shoulder seam to the cuff edge - 23\"; Collar - 16-1/2\".
