Vietnam War dated US military 2qt collapsible canteen, manufactured by the Ideal Toy Company in 1972. This is the Type I (blow molded) canteen. Very good condition with a clean interior; this is a genuine piece of Vietnam War militaria perfect for collectors or reenactors. The last photo compares it to a 1993 dated canteen. Like the 1qt canteens, the color of the post-war 2 quart canteens was changed to a darker shade of green. Don\'t settle for a substitute in your Vietnam War display!
