For sale here is an unfortunately cut in half US Pre WW1 M1903 Mills Cavalry Rimless Eagle Snap Cartridge Belt in Pea Green. This is for the right side of the belt. There are 4 pouches with top flap and 1 more pouch that has had the flap removed. All five pouches retain their internal snaps and straps. All 4 of the eagle snaps are functional and all 5 of the under straps are functional. The belt retains the male brass buckle. All grommets are present up to the point of the cut, and they appear to be a mix of steel and brass. All of the metal fittings show some use, age, wear, finish loss and patina. The remaining eagle snaps are maker marked by Mills. The back of the belt has the Mills name in the bullet logo. Under the logo is a handwritten H. The canvas shows light age, use, wear, and soiling. You can use this for parts, display, or as a ersatz bandolier.
