They can expand or contract a few inches in any direction. We use these in our own trucks or trailers as ways to retain cargo. One of our photos show the net in action. In the photo, we are using carabiner clips to attach the nets to D rings to hold cargo in place - and with these big nets, we have room to spare! The built-in metal connectors are meant to hook around the edges of a HUMMVEE.We inspect every item before shipping. These items are genuine US military surplus. They have been issued and used in training exercises and possibly even combat. Items may have light to medium staining. They may have a musty odor, tiny tears, or holes smaller in diameter than a pen. These are guaranteed to have years of use left in them.
