WW2M-42 mountian troop reversible parkathat’s been Dyed. The coat is dyed green. but still has the white buttons.
They did this with many of the in used WW2 stock to modify them into a patternPeople based in Alaska had these in the 1950s and they were dyed to make them useful in temperate zones with no snow as well.
manufactured in the United States.It is a great addition to any collection of original period items and militaria from the WW2 and Korean War.This coat seems to be in almost new condition. 2 buttons are broken.
There are not labels or marks in the jacket. It is extremely well made. I want to thanktheundertokerfor his expert advice on this item!
