Comes with matching wool liner, also dated 1957. Liner Size XLR Extra Large Regular FSN 8405-290-3564
Great chance to get a really nice, collectible and/or usable cold weather jacket/coat!
This is an early version of this jacket. The waist drawstring and the collar/hood drawstring, both are the larger rope style cords. About 1959, they began using a shoestring type drawstring. This jacket has a cuff button on each sleeve(should be two) and the inside cuff button to secure the liner. Button on the top inside of the neck to secure the liner is missing(probably a comfort thing). One inch tear on back left elbow (see pics). There is trace white paint stain on the liner, and some deterioration near the cuffs on the liner(see pics). Please note, the rank and name tapes were removed prior to us getting this. THERE WILL BE SMALL SEWING HOLES AND POSSIBLY IMPRESSIONS OF RANK AND NAME. This jacket has some issues, nothing too crazy for a coat 65 years old! Please review the pics and make your determination
