AN ORIGINAL USARMY PATTERN 1874 BLACK LEATHER BELT AS USED DURING THE INDIAN WARS.

THE MAKER STAMP HAS WORN OUT.

THIS IS A VERY GOOD SPECIMEN SHOWING FIELD USE WITH A COUPLE OF ENLARGE ADJUSTMENT HOLES FROM FIELD USE. THE LEATHER IS LIVELY AND HAVING BEEN REFRESHED, IT LOOKS VERY GOOD BUT IT DOES SHOW ITS AGE WITH MUCH FINISH LOSS AND CRACKLING ON THE SURFACE.

NOTE THAT IT DOES NOT HAVE THE SLIDING LOOP KEEPER BUT CAN BE DISPLAYED WITHOUT IT.

THE BELT WILL MAKE A FINE DISPLAY WITH A BUCKLE.
