Then here's to the colors of crimson white, Those cords that bind us to truth and right, Here Hope and Faith give strength each day, For we love thy walls, oh U. of A."Genuine antique sheet music and lyrics to this historic Bama song! Two descriptive verses, first shown above.Taken directly from an antique song book published in 1906, these are twobeautiful, cream-colored pages lightly tinged with the golden burnish that comes only with the passing years.
Song begins as shown, with the final bar at the top of a second page. The rest of the page is an old song apparently popular on college campuses a century ago titled "Nut Brown Maiden." BONUS!On the reverse ofthe second pageis a politically incorrect sign of the times: "Gib Me Dat Water-Million" ... wow. You've got to see the words to that one to believe it.
This original song sheet is over a century old, yet looks fabulous.
