Sale is for a very unique, Mid-Century ashtray. Made entirely of ceramic, it features a smoking pipe in a tray. Or, if desired, this piece is so pretty and unusual that it could simply be used as a table decor piece or pocket catch-all for your dresser top. This is hand painted with a pinecone design in browns and reddish-tans. There is no maker’s mark or signature that I could find. The tray section measures 9 3/8” long, by 3 1/2” wide. It stands about 1 1/2” tall from the bottom of the tray to the rim of the pipe bowl. This estate sale find is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
