In commemoration of the US Coast Guard, Fortis has produced a chronograph watch. Made in a numbered and limited edition of fifteen, the watch features an automatic Valjoux 7750 movement with the seconds counter on the Coast Guard coat of arms at 9 o'clock. The Flieger-style blue skeleton hands that mark the hours and minutes have been coated with SuperLuminova at the tips. Made of stainless steel with a brushed finish, the 42mm case sports a unidirectional diving bezel with 120 grid. The model sports a blue bezel matching the color of the Coast Guard coat of arms. The screw-down steel case back has a mineral crystal and seals this watch to resist depths of 200 meters. The watch is attached to a stainless steel bracelet and comes in a numbered box with a certificate of authenticity.
