Theile & Quack Cutlery, which appears to have been a German maker, trademarked Tyler & Co. Celebrated Cutlery in the U.S. in 1877. The company dissolved on or around 1890. This knife measures approximately 4 inches long when closed, the blade is around 3 inches. The blade is stamped with "T & Co Tyler & Company Genuine Pruning Knife." The tang is stamped "Tyler & Co Celebrated Cutlery." The handle is metal with a silver finish. Very good antique condition with a strong snap. The blade is slightly off-center, likely due to a bent pin. When closing, take care, it can make contact with the edge occasionally, however it usually clears shut with a strong snap of the tang.
