MATCHING GAS LIGHT SHADESCa. LATE 1800s or EARLY 190sTHESE ARE A PAIR OF MATCHING GUARANTEED GENUINE 19th (OR POSSIBLY EARLY 20th) CENTURY GAS LAMP SHADES! They are in a star or starburst pattern. Each has a maximum diameter of about 8 inches, stand about 4.5 inches tall, and are for a standard 4 inch fitter. Both have minor fleabites chips at the fitter. One has a hairline crack which looks to be about 1/2 inch long and seems to terminate where the pattern begins. It also is at the fitter, and would not be seen once mounted.

You still have a 30 day inspection period during which the item can be returned for a refund of your purchase price, not to include shipping. Any damage must be pursued through an insurance claim, and insurance is included in the shipping.

Ah, caroffere gas. My father went to a one-room schoolhouse less than a mile from his home east Alabama for the first five or six grades.
