Two Antique Jefferson Glass Blue Opalescent Bowls- Beaded Fan Pedestal, Tokyo:

Offering this lot of 2 antique Jefferson Glass/Northwood Blue opalescent glass bowls. Larger piece is Beaded Fans pattern compote bowl with square footed pedestal and opalescent white ruffles in a wavy pattern. This piece dates from 1904-1920, features brilliant clear blue glass at the square pedestal, slowly adding opalescence until the edges of the ruffles are completely white. A few tiny air bubbles can be noted in the pedestal, which is not unusual for glass manufactured in this manner. This piece measures 9” at its widest, and is 4” high.

The smaller bowl is a single footed 4”x2” high Berry bowl in Tokyo pattern, also from the early 1900’s. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, scratches, or stains, remarkable at over 100 years old.

Offering these pieces of similar manufacture as a lot, would be willing to sell separately if needed.
