Signed and numbered by legendary The Spirit creator, Will Eisner, this stunning print is entitled \"The Best of Yesterday.\" It is a Limited Edition print and is number 122/800 and was released in 1988. The battered docks, timeworn though they are, evoke the beauty of the big city, even nostalgia, as father and son, or perhaps grandfather and grandson, share a moment together. Image area of the artwork is approximately 15 by 19.5 inches with overall measurements of approximately of 20 by 28 inches. Signed by hand by Eisner in pencil at the lower right and numbered at lower left. Print has a fair amount of corner wear - see photos - but if framed and matted just right it would look great and hide all the defects. First image is a stock photo. All the other images are of the actual item you will receive.

The original color painting is one of four New York street scenes created for a limited edition lithograph set. Of the eight hundred lithographs of each image produced, 400 even-numbered prints were sold in the American market and the other 400 odd-numbered prints were sold exclusively in Europe.
