This is a really outstanding piece of history regarding Washington High School. The book reflects on different aspects of Washington H S and contains many interesting ads that were no doubt supporting the printing. The back cover is an ad from Honeyman Hardware Company no the home of the Honeyman Lofts in Northwest Portland. The first page is an ad for Fisher, Thorsen & Co. a large paint store located at Front & Morrison.There are 36 numbered pages. Other than some age discoloration the condition is very good. The cover is secure. The approximate size is 6\" x 9 1/2\" when closed.1909 is the year the name was changed from East Side High School.
Some notable graduates included Linus Pauling, James Beard, Vic Atiyeh and Bill Naito. Naito was the driving force on revitalizing Northwest Portland.
