Welcome (back) to the wonderful world of Lilliput Lane miniatures collecting. Lovely replicas or fantasies on real British cottages and historic buildings. They aren’t making them anymore and they are delicate, so collect now.
Based on a substantial cottage in Aldbourne, Wiltshire. A limited edition for Collectors Club members 1999. In a scene from yesteryear a woman milks a Frisian cow and another feeds some pigs. Raised beds in the front contain the vegetable plantings. In an open upstairs window we can see a vase of flowers. Stone and daub and wattle walls with a lovely complex thatch. These club limited editions always have exquisite detail.
