This sale is for an ungraded The Comics Journal Anything Goes! Complete Set. The set consists of issues 1 through 6 and they are datedbetween October, 1986 and 1987. Issues #1 through #5 are in color and issue #6 is in Black & White. Anything Goes! is an anthology title published by The Comics Journal to finance the defense in a lawsuit by Michael Fleisher against Gary Groth and Harlan Ellison. It features stories by the top writers and artists of the day, featuring their characters. Some of the characters appearing are Mr. Monster, Flaming Carrot, Cerebus the Aardvark, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Usagi Yojimbo. Featured creators include Gil Kane, Bob Burden, Alex Toth, Alan Moore, Jack Kirby, Dave Sim, Mark Wheatley, George Perez, Eastman and Laird and Stan Sakai. A great set full of 1980\'s goodness!
