Imagine what the Beach Boys would have sounded like if they recorded Barbara Ann 64 years earlier (in 1902 instead of 1966). Now you can with this special a cappella version of Barbara Ann recorded onto a 1902 Columbia Wax cylinder!

This 122 year old wax cylinder is in very good condition for its age with some modest oxidation - much less than you would typically see on a cylinder of this age. There is one very small tip on one end of the cylinder outside of the playing area that does not affect the integrity of the cylinder or playback quality.

Cylinder comes in its original record container complete with the original cotton wrapping that was used prior to the introduction of felt lined containers around 1904.

Playback quality is very good with some moderate background noise, consistent with brown wax cylinder record of this era.

Also included a Beach Boys/ Barbara Ann promotional card and a USB drive with a video recording of this cylinder so even if you don\'t have a wax cylinder phonograph you can still hear and see this unique record. Please look at the video and all photos before making a purchase.
