history:Luang Pu Thuat (also spelled Luang Pho Thuat) is one of the most revered monks in Thailand. Born in 1582 in Sathing Phra, Songkhla Province, Thailand, his full name is Somdet Phrarajamuni Samiram Kunupmajarn, but affectionately called Luang Pu Thuat, meaning Luang Pu Thuat.
