Teen Titans #22 from DC Comics in 1969 introduces the origin and revamp of Wonder Girl (Donna Troy). This Silver Age comic book features a superhero team of Teen Titans, appearing in two tales, the first story is \"Halfway to Holocaust\" written and penciled by the incredible Neal Adams with inks by Nick Cardy. The second story is \"The Origin of Wonder Girl\" written by Marv Wolfman with art by Gil Kane and Nick Cardy.The history of Wonder Girl isunique, she was created in 1959 as a younger teen version of Wonder Woman(Diana Prince) and appeared as a back-up story in the Wonder Woman comic booksuntil 1965 when she was supposed to have been retconned out of existence until,without explanation she was included as a member of the Teen Titans in theirsecond appearance in Brave and the Bold #60 and she would remain a member ofthe team indistinguishable from the Wonder Girl created in 1959 for the first21 issues of Teen Titans comics without origin or secret identity. Then in1969Marv Wolfman in Teen Titans #22 gave her an origin and the name Donna Troy, nolonger was she an Amazon but a baby that Wonder Woman had rescue from a firewho would later be given super-powers through the use the Purple Ray; Wonder Girlfor all intents and purposes became a brand new character who would make herfirst full appearance in Teen Titans #23 which cover plays homagetothe cover of Detective Comics #38, the first appearance of Robin (Dick Grayson) Both stories contain the characters of Robin (Dick Grayson), Kid Flash (Wally West), Speedy (Roy Harper), and Wonder Girl (Donna Troy). The comic book is in 5.0 Very Good/Fine condition and comes boarded and bagged.
