Item Description

A tall antique copper pot. Could have had many uses.This one holds 3 to maybe 4 quarts with a lid.Have heard these used as confectioner's pots. Could be for maple candy or just plain cooking. It is about6-1/4" inches across the top and just shy of7.5" tall. Has a makers mark D.H. & MCo of NY on the lid and M & D on the pot. Handles are iron.Has a few dings, no apparent holes, nice overall. Will need re-tinned.
