THREE WONDERFUL SARREGUEMINES BREAD & BUTTER PLATES, CASTLES, H. LOUX:

Maker: This set of 3 delightful bread and butter plates is by the legendary French faience company Sarreguemines, which has been producing beautiful ceramics since 1790. Its long and colorful history ended in 2007 when the company was forced into liquidation.
Each plate has the signature the artist H. Loux. On the reverse is the \"Obernai U&C Sarreguemines France\" backstamp.
Design: The pattern features castles, two of them perched on a hill, against a cream colored backdrop highlighted with floral clusters.
Size: The plates are 6 1/2 inches wide and together weigh 1 pound 1 ounce. Condition: All 3 plates are in excellent condition with no marks, chips, nicks, scratches, cracks, stains or repairs. Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
